A hidden gem in a very calm and beautiful sort of old town. The hotel is crafted to the smallest details and only people who are enthusiastics can enjoy the small things. We encountered the friendliest staff from all around the country so far, and we have been here for almost 2 weeks. Sad we couldn't stay longer as we travel by car and bicycles. Strongly recommend a stay at this place. 3 key words: _classy _cozy _empathy

Absolutely amazing experience! We stayed at DOMA as well as dined there and both were really unforgettable moments. There’s a SPA in the basement that looked amazing too, but we didn’t get to visit it. The environment: It’s located in an old part of town (I believe the house itself was from 13th century) and the whole square is amazingly well preserved in the traditional gothic style. The area is fairly quiet and its restaurants and bars are all done in a tasteful traditional manner. Really nice to walk around, not too traffic-y. The hotel: The room, just like the whole building, was made and equipped with custom furniture and fittings, making it feel very luxurious, comfortable and cozy. There is no lift as far as I know. The dinner: The amuse bouche was already a showstopper; home made sourdough bread (the best sourdough bread I’ve ever had!) with a caramelised butter. For main, the lamb dish was absolutely spectacular, really soft and served with lovely mash and some green leaves with a really nice dressing. For drinks, the draft beer was good and refreshing. The Aperol Spritz was nice enough. The breakfast: The chef-grade bread in egg (chlieb na vajci) was nothing short of delicacy. You could also get other traditional Slovak meals like semolina (krupicna kasa) but we were already too full, so haven’t tried it. The coffee was absolutely amazing. Both the latte and flat white. Thank you so much team DOMA for making us feel “ako doma” (like at home). 🫶 We will be back!
