I am still confused by the design envisioned by the engineer and architect. The cluster of rooms here are bunched in segments and unconnected. Therefore going to an assigned room can take a roundabout manner. Fortunately the room is spacious and clean. I was a little trepidatious because I read some unflattering reviews, but fortunately my room was clean and well stocked. However the surrounding area is quite quiet and you will need to have a car to enjoy the sights and food. Otherwise, food delivery will need to be the only way to get food. I generally had a comfortable stay. For a four star, it did what it was expected to. Graded according to 4 star expectation.
Had a really good stay! The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient. The staff Liyana were especially helpful and friendly — always ready to assist with anything we needed. Would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
Staying in Dorsett Putrajaya recently with 2 rooms for 4 person. Sincerely not really a good experience, yet not really bad. For all the experience that I'm facing during my stay, this hotel will become my last choice whenever I'm in Putrajaya after this. Good Thing : 1. My request for connecting room been granted during check in 2. Room is clean and spacious 3. Breakfast choices is very good 4 Car park is still OK for me at B1 or B2, even can park at the open space just beside the main road, still quite safe from my point of view. 5. Nearby to many attraction place and walking distance to the mosque as well as food truck area at night. Bad Thing : 1. Too many staff not friendly and very difficult to smile and great customer / guest. Out of 8 staff that I've meet, only 2 is good and friendly. ( 1 Malay female at front desk during my check in and 1 Foreigner staff at swimming pool), the rest really need to improve the way they treat customer including the toilet cleaner that I've meet around the breakfast restaurant, very rude, I'm asking in good way either can I use the toilet or not since he's doing cleaning but get angry with me, with angry face and by showing with hand telling me to use the toilet. This is very important matter for guest / customer - Attitude of staffs and they way they act. 2. My daughter room does not have towel and call many time front desk and house keeping but no one pick up phone. 3. I have to came down to the front desk asking for towel and the way staff treat me is very bad, nor even a single word saying sorry and the face is angry to me(maybe because the line up for check in is very long that time). Front desk staff told me that he will arrange sent to the room but never ask me the room number. I insist to wait there and ask to give me the towel and bring up the towel to my daughter room by my self. Never ever happened to me at any Hotel that we stay before this. 4. During booking I received a form for early check in and late check out, '26 hours stay' promotion. Early check in I did not get it as I request to check in at 1pm, I only get the room around 2.40pm, no issue on this, I understand previous guest not yet check out, BUT I did request to check out at 12.45pm on next day, before 1pm. On the check out day, before breakfast in the morning, around 6.30am I go to the front desk, politely asking to check either my both rooms access card is OK for me to check out before 1, but the way the staff answer make me felt like I'm a beggar and I'm doing a wrong thing, the way he answer and they way looking at me. My point of view, Dorsett Putrajaya REALLY have to FOCUS on improving your staff attitude towards guest / customer since you are in the servicing business. If this really can be improves, the rest issue will only become small matter and will not impact overall performance.
