Online, they advertised a complimentary breakfast. It is not true, one of the first things they told me at the check-in counter, breakfast was not included. The pool needs to be maintained to remove a lot of debris including a large water bug. The staff was helpful and courteous.

First of all, the fact that they charge $35 for parking each night is ridiculous. The room was nice and bed was comfortable. However, the bathroom had a wet rag, wet dog musky smell to it. We stayed there a few nights and not once did housekeeping go inside to make the bed or throw out the trash. I had to go outside the room the next morning and ask the cleaning lady for some towels. Also, the older blonde lady at the front desk was rude and speaking bad about the customers to her other co worker. I asked her a question and she started saying things about me to her colleague. How unprofessional. The room was hot and the lobby is also hot. They have a restaurant but it’s a bit overpriced. Would not be returning just because they charge to park, and no housekeeping while you’re there.

The funny part is I accidentally booked this location (look closely before you book), I was trying to stay at the entrance to Universal. After trying to switch my reservation, they would not accomodate me (Understandable, I paid the cheap rate, but still wanted to try) I decided to give it a shot. My husband drives a Ford F350 that barely fit in the sketchy parking garage you had to pay $32 to park in, on top of your hotel price. The corporate greed is absolutely disgusting. The staff was friendly and the lobby and restaurant were clean. The elevators are sketchy!! The smaller elevator on the right, shook badly and you could hear loose cables hitting the elevator as it went up and down. It was scary. The room was absolutely terrible. The mold and mildew smell coming out of the AC was pretty bad, there was no vent/fan in the bathroom so the moisture buildup was real... there was legitimately black mold on the picture hanging on the wall in the bathroom. There were poop marks in the toilet like it had been recently used. There were stains all over the comforter. I understand that its a Double Tree, but with the name Hilton attached, I expected the quality of my stay to be better. Atleast a clean room. I was extremely disappointed and will absolutely never stay here again.
