DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Bernardino

Front desk folks were incredible! Room was excellent, big clean modern. Excellent We went into the restaurant at 1900hrs, sat at the bar for 10 minutes, 3 separate severs or bartenders saw us... no one acknowledged us, or the man sitting to our left that was there before us. We left and went across the street. After a 15hr drive this part of my experience here was disappointing. Again, hotel desk staff at check in and check out with phenomenal, as was the room

When you walk into the hotel it has a really nice vibe to it. the staff are very friendly and the service is good. the food at the restaurant is a little bland but it was still good. I absolutely love how well they keep the pool. I travel a lot and most of the hotels pools are not up to par. I had the chance to speak to the maintenance guy who works on the pool. He was really friendly and you can tell he takes great pride in maintaining the pool and the hotel. He is definitely a keeper and a good asset to the company. The room on the other hand was very dusty the AC filter look like it hadn't been changed in years. I woke up the next morning with a stuffy nose. Also one of the sheets look like it had a blood stain on it 🤢 this hotel would be an A+ if they would change the AC filters more frequently and make sure the rooms aren't so dusty

Like the other reviews, the hotel looks nice, until you REALLY look. The elevators are dirty and everything looks dusty and unkempt throughout the hallways. The walls are thin, very thin. It is nice that they have so many mirrors but I found a freeway things wrong with the bathroom, like chipped paint and a leaky faucet. You have to pay for breakfast. It's not free. They charge you 14.99 for parking but that's a hidden fee, also the charge a tourist fee. I stayed one night in between driving from another state. I will not stay here again.
