DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family and overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The breakfast options were great, with a wide variety to choose from. Everything we tried was delicious. The staff were excellent throughout our stay, especially those who welcomed us at Makan Kitchen. They were friendly, professional, and really made us feel at home. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were helpful and knew exactly what they were doing. Not to forget the housekeeping team, who were also very helpful and responsive whenever we needed assistance. One of the best parts for us was the splash pool for kids. It was outstanding and our children absolutely loved it. They had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. The only downside was the room cleanliness. While all the basic amenities were provided, the toilet floor could have been cleaner. I also noticed a spider web near the front door, which I don’t think should happen in a hotel that claims to be five stars. Despite that, we would still come back. It is a beautiful hotel and the kids had a wonderful time.

While my wife attended a 2-day seminar, I spent time with our 2-year-old daughter at the hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by how family-friendly the facilities are — from the Splash Pool and Kid’s Club to the Games and Arcade Rooms, there was plenty to keep us entertained. The buffet meals were impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious options. We also enjoyed walking around the area, especially the scenic lakeside footpaths conveniently connected to the hotel. Our room was luxurious and very comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth it for families looking for a relaxing yet engaging stay.

I was pleasantly upgraded to a King Executive Room, which was incredibly spacious and comfortable — truly perfect for relaxing after a long day. The breakfast spread was amazing, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste. What really stood out was the exceptional service — every staff member I encountered, from front desk to restaurant to housekeeping, was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The hotel facilities were also great, well-maintained and ideal for both leisure and work. Overall, a fantastic experience — I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return!
