I had an incredible stay at DoubleTree. From check-in to check-out, the service was impeccable — the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile especially a few that went over and beyond to make me feel at home was Alex Panasyuk and the staff. The room was beautifully maintained, clean, and extremely comfortable. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the attention to detail really stood out — from the cozy lighting to the quality of the toiletries and linens. Breakfast each morning was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, with a great selection of fresh items. I also appreciated the quiet, relaxed atmosphere throughout the hotel — it made for a peaceful and restful stay. Whether you’re traveling for work or leisure, I highly recommend DoubleTree. It was a perfect experience, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
I was here as part of a group and had a fantastic time! The staff are very accommodating. The warm cookies upon arrival are a nice treat... and we were able to get a few more over the 4 days we were there. The accessible rooms have a king bed only, which didn't work for my mom and I, but they did have a shower chair available which was the only thing that we really needed. A recommendation for improvement would be to offer the chair upon check in, instead of needing to request it a few days in. The restaurant on site is great! I had breakfast daily. The meals were all huge so I tended to order toast and fruit off the sides menu. I also had dinner one night and it was great too! Heather was so great to work with and really contributed to a great stay!
Stayed 3 nights here July 2025. Sam was super helpful checking us in and gave us some good recommendations on dining and sights to see. Rooms had nice touches - plenty of outlets for plugging in multiple devices, a bathroom fan (many places didn’t have this in the area which made for steamy bathrooms) and small lights near beds. Had a nice view of the harbour. Breakfast was surprisingly delicious (my husband said the eggs Benedict was one of the best he’d ever had) and parking in the garage was handy. We could pretty much walk downtown wherever we wanted to go.
