Had one night in Taipei and this hotel was great. Location was perfect to check out all the cute shops and restaurants in the area. The room was large, clean and super comfortable. Everyone at the front desk were super nice and very helpful. The breakfast was also good. Not the best but reliable. Highly rec for a solid stay.
May 2, 2025 Corner suite is very nice. Clean and big. Bathroom is big & good view. Breakfast is average. I wish they have veggie bar (longtime ago). I recommend they rent this restaurant to a local chef. This location is perfect for an excellent chef to prepare 5 star meal & experience. Front desk & bar staffs are friendly & helpful.
There were a few standout positives during my stay. I was warmly greeted as soon as I stepped out of the taxi, which was a nice touch. The reception staff were truly excellent friendly, professional, and very welcoming. I also had lunch at the hotel, and both the food and service were great. However, the stay had several letdowns. The location isn’t ideal if you’re looking to explore Taipei it feels a bit out of the way for tourists. Also, it would have been helpful to receive a heads-up about Taiwan’s environmental law that bans hotels from providing items like toothbrushes and other single-use toiletries. A simple notice before arrival would’ve saved some hassle. The room itself, while clean and comfortable, was not well equipped missing some of the amenities I’ve come to expect from Hilton, which was disappointing. But the biggest letdown was breakfast. I’ve never seen this setup at a Hilton before: it’s full table service with no self-serve options. You can just grab a juice, cereal, or pastry yourself you’re limited to what’s on the set menu. While the breakfast staff were lovely, the format really doesn’t work for guests who want a bit of flexibility and variety. With better communication, a more thoughtful room setup, and a complete rethink of the breakfast experience, this hotel could easily rate higher. But for now, I can only give it 3 stars.
