Not only convenient, best hotel in regards to quality and service . Check in was very smooth and swift , the staff was very friendly and responsive. Since we arrived early , the staff stored our bags and then checked in at the usual time. Very thoughtful of the staff to welcome us with warm cookie and bath salts on a cold windy afternoon. The staff also guided me about local sightseeing and it turned out to be an enjoyable experience rather than a tiring day. The hotel is at a striking distance to JR , tram and buses . Lawson is next door to the hotel just in case . The room was not so big, but the beds and the pajamas very comfy . The walk in shower with a bath stool was a big plus to my senior parents . Our room had great views of the city . The bath house experience early evening was amazing. Very tidy place and had good amenities. Eco friendly amenities provided in the entire property. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with ample selection of both continental and western dishes. Very fresh fruits and vegetables in the buffet . Service at buffet was exceptionally good.Juice selection was good too. Wish we stayed here more than a night as the stay was very relaxing . Highly recommend this hotel whether visiting Toyama or transiting overnight.

Just what you expect from a Hilton hotel..Wonderful ..!! Doubletree location that cannot be beat. Right across from the train station/ bus station. Maybe a 10 minute walk. Not only are there dozens of restaurants within a 15 minute walk. But several grocery stores, bakeries and specialty shops. Rooms are still small. But most rooms in Japan are. Bathrooms are spacious. Nice toiletries, nice towels. Beds are very comfortable. Soft. Multiple soft pillows. Nothing negative to say. The brunch on Sat/ Sunday is very nice. Lots of options. We'll worth the cost. Highly recommend. Great motel, great location. If you are looking for a great stay in Toyama I can highly recommend this Hilton Doubletree. '

Lying is not ok. When we checked out and checked in again for one more night at the front desk, we first went straight to talk to a receptionist who was apparently at work and had time, but what she did was use a simple hand gesture to let us move to the front of the next receptionist and did not say anything. This single thing is not polite and weird enough, but what happened next was even more mind blowing. The next receptionist greeted us and it seemed nothing weird for now. But next, he suggested it would be hard for us to simply keep the same room for one more day because the hotel was fully booked that day. Guess what? We checked the availability on the Hilton app immediately after he said that while standing at the front desk, and there was nothing but all availability for different types of rooms including the type we stayed at. So we knew he was either lying or being unprofessional. Next, he even made a phone call, and then suggested we can stay in the same room for one more night, and even wanted us to acknowledge his "hard work" on this so-called issue. We simply took this as a joke, because staying two nights in the same room is such a basic thing every hotel can offer when there definitely is availability. Even if there was an upgrade it is still nothing special because it is very common at a Hilton property to upgrade an elite member's room to a higher level room, not even a suite. If the hotel wanted to save cost, we didn't even need the house keeping so that would save some bucks. But the price of this hotel was not the most expensive one, and not significantly higher than the nearby inns, so probably the management team's unprofessionalism has something to do with it. And for the room, it lacks oxygen at all times, no matter AC on or off, as the window cannot be opened. The view was nice and peaceful, and there was a mountain view. All the rooms are spacious at this hotel. The communication with the manager at the restaurant was weird and not very nice. All the other staff at the restaurant were kind or at least polite.
