DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Tucson Airport

Service was friendly. Room great. Bed very comfortable. The only complaints are in the bathroom. Toilet took 3 times to flush and the shower is slippery with no safety mat. Pool courtyard was peaceful and beautiful. Complimentary shuttle and our driver was very cheerful at 3:25am. Very close to the airport.

A nice hotel, old style but rooms are very spacious, it was worth it for that amount and it was very near the airport like 8-9 minutes walking but I took the uber because it was summer hot. I stayed here for a company meet and greet in Tucson and the staff were fairly polite. I went in for a breakfast and there was no hot sauce but the waiter gave me one and was very polite enough to ask what I still need without being sarcastic except looks like the bacon was cooked several days ago, it was tough like a jerky beef but nothing serious to complain about this hotel. I even got a free cookie twice from the nice lady.

This was a truly awful experience. The room was dark and poorly maintained, with very outdated furnishings. The bathroom was in terrible condition, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. We tried to stay positive since it was just for one night, and decided to go to the pool—but what a disappointment! The pool was overcrowded, taken over by a single family who had brought loud speakers, leaving no peaceful space to relax. There weren’t enough chairs or seating areas available, and worst of all, the pool area had no towels at all. The door to the pool was left open without any security, which felt unsafe. The air conditioner in our room was extremely noisy and didn’t work properly. It was almost impossible to get any sleep. There should be clear rules for using the pool area to ensure all guests can enjoy it. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The air conditioner was so loud that I couldn’t sleep at all. When I tried calling the front desk for help, the phone in the room didn’t even work. The bed was hard, noisy, and very uncomfortable—I still have back pain because of it. On top of that, the room wasn’t clean. This hotel is in serious need of maintenance and proper cleaning. Very disappointing stay.
