Drachenhaus Poiana Brasov

Beautiful hotel in Brasov, very close to the main square in the old town. Lovely staff, great breakfast, I highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful view of the mountains if you look up towards the breakfast area in the courtyard. Hope to return again soon.

beautiful place in great location with no a/c in the rooms and terrible sound isolation. you have to open the window facing garbage rooms and breathing smoke from staff and guests smoking from 7am... rooms are clean and tidy but the doors are old and would not close properly... the breakfast is limited but pretty decent if you like eggs and sausages. very mixed feelings, if not for the a/c absence, would have given solid 4 stars. and it sudennly becomes too overpriced given that issues, no a/c rooms with poor breakfast should cost a lot less!

The hotel advertises parking, but it actually refers to public parking nearby, which is not affiliated with the hotel. You’ll need to find a spot yourself and pay extra. The hotel is quite dated and does not match the photos shown online. There is no air conditioning, no sound insulation (you can hear your neighbors talking and walking), and no refrigerator in the room. The bathroom had a terrible smell, which could easily be addressed even with a simple air freshener, but it seems the owners do not pay attention to such details. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place.
