For our first vacation ever it was amazing. The service was amazing, beach was amazing, our butler Francisco went above and beyond. We did the Bali bed on the beach and Nelson was amazing always checking in on us and serving beverages and food! The rooms were perfect and food was most definitely good. Would recommend 100 times over.
My wife and I recently vacationed here for a whole week. I cannot begin to tell you how friendly everyone was from our very first step onto the property. We booked as preferred guest. As such had our own concierge, Erick David. I do not believe anyone could have been any warmer, sincere, and as helpful as Erick was. The food was great with a blend of menu and buffet restaurants on site to choose from. There was never a bar or a pool or a snack very far from you. My one and only negative is that all of the pools close at 7pm and I like to swim in the evening. I would definitely give them 4 3/4 stars. @Dreams Dominicus leave the pools open till 10 or 11pm and you'll get a full 5 stars
Not my favorite Dreams location but it was decent for what it was. Despite some negative experiences, we were still able to enjoy ourselves. I hope to continue visiting this chain of resorts, just not this particular location again. Details: Food buffet - no variety at all and I saw a roach on the bread my second day there Restaurants - great service and delicious food. I recommend eating at these over the buffet Barefoot grill on the beach - I only recommend the food that looks thoroughly cooked (fries, rice, pizza). My ENTIRE GROUP got food-poisoning from undercooked burgers Suite - The room we had was spacious and our housekeeper and room service was excellent Pools - very clean, spacious and our favorite place to be during our stay Beach - absolutely beautiful, but there was never a chair or shade open. They have a 45-minute policy to remove items if people leave them for that long and don’t claim them, but never did it. Chairs would be claimed as early as 9am with towels. We couldn’t truly enjoy the beach due to lack of chairs and umbrellas available. Such a disappointment. Night Shows - Great dancers and entertainment! Excursions - book scuba diving and all water activities with the people on the beach. They have the best prices! Lobster meal - expensive, but so worth it! The service was phenomenal and our server, Jose, was so fast and friendly. I highly recommend this. One of my biggest complaints was the amount of times they kept calling the room phone for the dumbest things. I’ve never been bothered or woken up that often on a vacation. It was ridiculous. Also, there were several times I caught one of the head housekeepers entering our room without knocking which is absolutely unacceptable. At night there was never any silence. It was always super loud with music every night. I usually don’t mind, but being that we had smaller kids in our group, we couldn’t sleep until the crowds dispersed. Lastly, there were way too many vendors in the resort that made it overwhelming and annoying trying to avoid getting caught up by them. Everything was insanely expensive. They don’t leave you alone and are extremely pushy. This includes even them trying to make you join their membership/time share. Don’t waste your time trying to earn coupons! It’s not the 90-minute presentation they promise, it’s more like 3 hours.
