Dromhall Hotel

I enjoyed the stay here from the moment I walked in the front door. The hotel was spotless, neat and clean. It was bigger than I thought but there was no loss of personal attention as a result. The fixtures and décor was quite upmarket and well maintained. The room was well equipped and large, the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spotless with nice amenities and a strong pressure shower with nice cold water to finish off with. The breakfast had a very good selection and was cooked to order and so it was served nice and hot. It was about a 6 minute walk into the centre of Killarney, very near. I would have no hesitation recommending this hotel and would have no hesitation staying here again.

Stunning hotel! Staff is friendly and professional. Highly recommend if in Killarney. Close enough to town and is walkable. No air conditioning though. Would stay again!

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy, but sadly that is the end of the positive things I have to say about this place. If you’re looking for Irish hospitality or just kindness in general, steer clear of this place. They carry a “not my problem” mentality which is not something I have not encountered at the other 6 properties I have stayed at throughout my trip. The restaurant manager was very rude to my family and I when he could have simply said he was not able to accommodate our tight morning breakfast schedule due to a large group that took priority and apologize that his front desk staff informed us otherwise the night before. In addition, the hotel is very out of the way, many other hotels are much closer to the town center so if you are looking to be in the center of it all, this would also be a pass for you.
