The location is obviously very good. The hotel is clean and easy to find. The hotel staff are super friendly and make you feel at home. The hotel breakfast has a wonderful selection and tastes very good. We had a very comfortable room/apartment and I must say, very clean. Everything you need is there.
We stayed two nights in a spacious, well-equipped apartment. The location is excellent — central and convenient to reach key sights in the city. It was clean and reasonably priced. However, none of that matters after what happened. In the middle of the night, while we were sleeping, a drunk man entered our apartment. He had been mistakenly given a key card by the hotel staff — to our room. He believed it was his. He walked in uninvited, confused and drunk. We were lucky it was our bedroom he entered and not the children’s. Our belongings were in the living room exposed. I directed him out immediately. The next morning, we reported the incident. The hotel admitted fault. The key card was issued in error. Yet they offered no meaningful compensation, no visible action to address the mistake. Their response was: it was a mistake, and there's not much they can do. This was a failure of basic safety and protocol. Guests should never have to worry about someone walking into their room at night — drunk or otherwise. If this happened once, it can happen again. I do not recommend staying here.
Unfortunately, it was not a good experience at all. The breakfast was average and the location was good, but the cleanliness of the rooms was unacceptable (survivable for one night, but for this price we could definitely have found a cleaner place). What was truly disappointing however, was the communication with the guests. Upon departure, we requested our car from the parking (a lift-based automated parking system - APS), loaded our luggage and began to exit. However, there was heavy foot traffic and the guest before us was still at the exit, blocking the way. At that moment, the garage door closed onto the front of our car. We immediately informed the reception, and while a staff member came out, instead of helping to solve the situation or offering an apology, their first reaction – in an unacceptable tone – was to say that we would have to pay for the damage. No apology, no swift resolution, no help – just immediate blame and threats. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel and choosing it was a mistake – never again.
