Homely atmosphere, very welcoming and comfortable. Haven't stopped raving to my friends how nice it is! Great breakfast and would totally recommend to those of us who like to stay at interesting and individual places. Handy location for Nottingham, yet tucked away in a small village. Would stay here any time. Brilliant.

A great mix of traditional venue blended with contemporary flair. Management/owner is very accommodating, helpful and full of initiative. I have booked this venue for business meetings and accommodation & dinners and feedback had always been extremely positive. A real find if you are looking for a more intimate venue as opposed to the standard bedroom factory. Nothing is too much trouble and the venue is a real talking point due to it's slightly eccentric feel. Loved by our visitors from overseas and one we go back to when looking for something different. The grounds are beautiful and I understand that guests are positively encouraged to relax into the peaceful vibe of the place. Really worth a visit.
