My stay at Premier Village Phu Quoc Resort was flawless. I was touched by the meticulous service from the moment I checked in. 🏝️ Resort environment: The entire park is located on a quiet peninsula at the southern end of Phu Quoc Island, with spectacular views of the two bays. It is really intoxicating to watch the sunrise every morning and the sunset in the evening. The environment is clean and the plants are well maintained, and there is a sense of relaxation surrounded by nature. 🏡 Villa facilities: We stayed in a sea view villa with a private pool, a spacious living room and complete kitchen equipment, which is very suitable for family or friends traveling together. The room is clean and tidy, and there are special people to clean and replenish supplies every day, which makes people feel at ease. 🍽️ Dining experience: There are rich breakfast options, including Chinese and Western meals, as well as freshly made Vietnamese noodles and egg dishes. I also tried the restaurant in the resort in the evening. The seafood is fresh and the taste is exquisite. It is highly recommended. 🧑🤝🧑 Service team: Every staff member is kind and polite, whether it is the shuttle driver, front desk, room service or restaurant staff, their attitude is very professional and enthusiastic. They even remember our names and preferences, making people feel as warm as at home. 🚗 Transportation: The airport pick-up is very punctual, and there is also an internal golf cart shuttle service, which is very convenient whether it is to go to the beach, restaurant or SPA.
It was amazing from beginning to end. Our villa on the rock was spotless, spacious, and offered an unblocked view of the sea. It felt completely private and grand. Due to the distance from the main pool and dining area, we needed to use a buggy, which wasn’t the most convenient—but it was also just a 10-minute walk away. The private pool was comfortably warm, thanks to the sunshine throughout the day. But the highlight of the resort was definitely the beach—clear water, gentle waves, and soft white sand. I spent an hour just floating in the sea, doing nothing but soaking in the beauty of the surroundings. There’s only one dining restaurant, but the menu was extensive and included delicious Vietnamese dishes. The resort itself is so big that I didn’t even manage to see the entire estate! The main pool is huge and stunning, but I only saw about 10 beach chairs around it. It would be great if more could be added to accommodate more guests. This was my first time in Phu Quoc, but I’m already planning my next stay at this villa. Thank you for a truly memorable experience.
Overall Disappointment I chose this hotel based on glowing reviews, expecting a flawless 5-star experience. Unfortunately, my stay fell far short of expectations. 1. Buffet Breakfast – Poor Quality Many reviews praised the breakfast variety and freshness, but my experience was underwhelming. Compared to my previous stay at the Sheraton Phu Quoc- which offered a wider selection (Indian, Korean, Chinese, and international cuisine) with consistently fresh, hot food. Premier Village’s breakfast was disappointing. Basic items like pancakes, waffles, were served cold, with no heating lamps to keep them warm. For a 5-star hotel, this is unacceptable. 2. Limited Dining Options The hotel has only 3-4 restaurants, and some operate on restricted schedules. This lack of variety and accessibility is inconvenient, especially for guests expecting a luxury experience. 3. Transportation Issues Since the hotel is in a remote location, I expected a complimentary shuttle service to Sunset Town. Instead, transportation options were limited, and Grab rides were hard to arrange. 4. Water Policy Guests receive only one complimentary 500ml water bottle per day, any additional bottles need to pay. For a luxury hotel, this is excessively restrictive and feels like an unnecessary cost-cutting measure. The Only Positive: Room Design The sole redeeming quality was the modern and well-designed room. Beyond that, nothing justified the 5-star rating or premium price.
