Enjoy Vina del Mar

This was the most amazing hotel room I've been in. The bathroom alone was almost as big as my apartment. Lovely rooms, all with a balcony and outside view (due to the horseshoe shape) right on the water with a great little park. Easy walk to a few nice restaurants (Chez Gerald!) and even Starbucks (if you don't feel adventurous). Nice facility. Didn't use the casino so can't speak for that.

I wanted to really love this hotel, the lobby looks great, the rooms were a good size and a nice view, restaurants on site were good, the pool was striking with its seemingly panoramic views. I'd agree the enforced purchase of a swimming cap was annoying and a bit pointless. The spa facilities were certainly in need of a bit of a refurbishment but I enjoyed using the sauna steam and gym. The casino, however, really let's this place down I feel. Makes it seem really dated and shabby. Also there's no hotel bar that isn't amidst the dingy smoky casino. Disappointing but could easily be improved and is a great location.

Great place, good wifi internet speed. Really nice and spacious rooms, only negative is (and this is a minor one) they force you to buy and wear a swim cap... I have a fully shaved head and they still made me wear one!
