Eriyadu Island Resort

We don’t agree with the negative reviews we read before we came as this resort exceeded our expectations and we found it much better than a lot of much more luxury and popular resorts in Maldives. First of all the location of the island is very unique and even If you book in the low season as we did, there is no constant wind like on the other islands in the monsoon months. We booked full board plus which had one soft drink per meal and water which was absolutely sufficient for us. The food was really nice and we liked the desserts as well. The highlight of this resort is really the coral reef, the proximity of the reef to the beach is very easy accessible and we were snorkeling at least twice every day without the need to book separate snorkeling trips with boat. This was a huge advantage and we never felt bored even though the island is very small. We stayed in much bigger resorts but it’s just incomparable as we come to the Maldives for the tranquility and the marine abundance and this resort definitely covers both. Having in mind that we booked and stayed during the construction time which most people complained about, this didn’t bother us at all, and we never even heard the construction from our room. We enjoyed really much and would definitely come back. Highly recommended and beats almost all resorts we stayed so far with its simplicity, beauty and amazing house reef.

Very nice place definitely would go back. I would give it 5 star for the house reef, the food, the service and the natural beauty. Its simple amazing despite the construction that didn’t bother me at all. I have been to many resorts, but this little island beats all the more expensive luxury resorts.

Fabulous place... going through an upgrade to the islands accommodation and amenities this year. It's still very acceptable. A new sea al a cart restaurant will be built over the bar area. Along with the existing dining area, which is to remain. None of the serenity and peace linked to this resort will be lost. The suba diving and snorkelling are fabulous, and the main attraction of this island. So if your a fan of the above I recommend you book a stay here for 7 days or longer. Then scoot off to another island to soak up sun and sand to relax fully. I highly recommend this resort for those who are world weary and need restoration. The peace and sea sooth you back to sanity. The spa experience is fabulous..... 100 % from me, i loved my time here ...paradise on earth.
