Esperanza Boutique Hotel of Lykia

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel. The rooms were clean, the food was good, the staff was fantastic, and the pictures don’t do it justice. We would definitely recommend this hotel. It is the best hotel we have stayed at in Turkey, complies with western standards. If you want to disconnect from the world, chill at the hotel - this is the place for you. There is not much to do around the hotel.

Very nice hotel. Was built with clear understanding what need for guests. It's stylish, quiet and hospitality. The rooms are perfectly clean, the plumbing is shiny, everything works. A very hospitable owner who is always at the hotel and watches over everything. Regarding the food at the hotel - if you want to taste the real Turkish cuisine, very tasty prepared - be sure to order dinner, you will not regret it. Recommended own car - near the village you can find very beautiful places.

We booked this place because of the great reviews. We had actually saved it years ago and we couldn't wait to finally stay there. However, from the first conversation with the staff, we felt very uncomfortable there. The atmosphere was very unfriendly and except for the person at the reception (who may have been the owner), nobody else even talked. It felt like the staff were forced to be there. On the day of the checkout, we went a bit early for breakfast to let them know that we needed to check out in the next few minutes since we had a boat tour in less than an hour and we were rushing. There was nobody at the reception and we had to talk to them several times in order for someone to come to the reception so we could check out. On top of all, even though the breakfast was said to start at 8:30, when we arrived at that time our "early arrival" surprised them. They served it a lot later and some of it was from the day before and wasn't edible. I guess they didn't have enough time to prepare everything fresh, but when it was fresh the food was great. We travel a lot and we've been to Turkey many times, one of the main reasons being Turkish people's hospitality. We always check reviews so it was shocking how our experience in this place was a completely different one from most people's experiences there. Anyway, this was just our experience and I hope the owner accepts the feedback rather than answer in a rude way as I've seen with other reviews.
