Eurostars Palacio Santa Marta

Nice hotel but being a "palacio" the room was a bit small. In the end it did not really feel like a 4 star hotel...

The most impressive part is the location, it is at the city center and very close to the beautiful city square. The room design has everything that the 4 Star hotel should have. The hotel has equipped with a safe box and refrigerator but there is no coffee and tea preparation set. However you can ask for a hot water. The route to the hotel is quite narrow, need a good driving skill. Small car is a better option. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

I wish they have single sign of hygiene. Main reason of staying at hotel is to have a place to sleep. If you pay +120€ per night, you at least expect it to be clean. We stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to town for wedding, pretty much all of our friends stayed here. When we went to our room, towels, toilet, bedsheets, and even floor were dirty. After we informed reception, they changed our room. I wish situation was different in the new room. Toilet was dirty, there were hair inside sink and bath, room was smelling sweat. We couldn’t even use the wardrobe because how bad it smelled. Floors were dirty that you wouldn’t be able to step on without socks or shoes. At least only one pillow case was dirty but rest of the sheets were fine. If you would like to bring your own towel, clean the toilet seat with antiseptic, or don’t mind hair/smell of previous customers, I suggest to stay here. It was quite immersive experience.
