Good hotel at reasonable money. We paid 2.250 rub/25 euro per night with breakfast and dinner included. The bathroom is very small with no sower cabin. Room was very clean and cosy. The size of the room is small but this is a standard characteristic for all hotel rooms from Saint Petersburg, hotels which are located in old buildings. Friendly staff all the time ready to help.

Staying in the " business" class room of the hotel but my room has had spotty internet service that gets blamed on various things apart from admitting that my room has bad Wi-Fi due to the thick walls or proximity to router. The ac works well. The hotel entrance may scare visitors but it is being renovated. The plumbing in the bathroom has been done by an amateur plumber as the bathroom smells of sewer after a shower and smells that way for hours. This is not normal even in Russia. I don't know if my room is cursed and other rooms are fine. The two-room business class looks very nice. I would consider the upgrade if I was not alone. Though I don't know if my issues are present in other rooms. Breakfast is pretty good. Lots of sweet cakes and dessert though. It would be nice to see fresh fruit instead of salad. I only went once. Bathroom amenities include nice things like toothbrush and razor kit but shampoo comes in little packets. No soap bars. They provide slippers. Now to the linens and mattress. I stayed in a hotel where linens are the cheapest Russian cotton. This hotel has good linens and the mattress is decent. In the end, it's a mixed bag of experiences. I would stay here again if the internet was not an issue.

Cold room in the middle of the Winter and not fixing it. I got sick because of this.
