Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu

We recently stayed at the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu as a family of four and had a mixed experience. The rooms were beautifully decorated in a charming Victorian style, which added a touch of elegance to our stay. The service at dinner was commendable, with attentive staff ensuring we were well taken care of. However, the kitchen took an hour to serve our entrees, which was a bit disappointing. The pools were quite busy during our visit, and the bar service around the pools was slow. We noticed that there was no one coming around to offer drinks, which would have been a nice touch. On a positive note, the sports activities available were comprehensive and provided plenty of options to keep us entertained. Overall, while there were some areas that could use improvement, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the beautiful surroundings and activities offered.

This is an excellent property with something for everyone. The beauty of the St. Lawrence on one side and the mountains on the other with plenty of greenery sprinkled in encapsulates the lively events at the hotel between live music and the casino that happen at night. Sunrises along the river are perfect for a game of golf. Hotel staff are very friendly across all areas of service. There is no doubt the property is a little old, however it gives the property character and rich history that can explored at the hotel. We will be coming back to stay at this property again.

I enjoyed my stay here in many ways, great staff, good service and good food with great views of the river. Beautiful property with beautifully kept surroundings. Our pet was welcomed at the bar space outside, which was nice. The salmon and the hanger steak we had for dinner were excellent, the wines were very well selected and of high quality. The point noting was the size of our room. Clean but too small for our comfort. I think that for 300 dollars per night I can expect a comfortable room. I am 60 years old and a comfortable room is a must.
