Fall River Village A Resort Community

Great place to stay. The property manager was welcoming. Beautiful river view and sound. KEEP IN MIND THERE IS NO AIR-CONDITIONING. Being from Texas, I was very worried about it However, the nights were cool/cold, with lows from the 40's to the 50's. Very Nice. Sweater weather... Highly recommend it.

First time staying here and will definitely be back. Prices are reasonable compared to lesser of properties that are even higher. Beautiful views right on the river in Estes Park. Helped my husband print out some items for work without question. Office staff very welcoming and helpful. Wonderful bed, sheets and towels all so soft and comfy. Love having kitchen and grill so we could relax some and not have to spend all our $ eating out. Excellent location between town and RMNP. Sadly didn’t see any wildlife from the resort which we were hoping for but it’s all good.

We made our reservations almost a year in advance and were very disappointed we weren’t given one of the nicer units, perhaps an upper unit further from the driveway. We were very close to the driveway in a lower unit, not ideal. We could hear the toilet flushing and shower running in the other units as the pipes go down through the bedroom wall. The advertising and pictures on the website are very deceptive; it looks like the river side of the property is backed against a mountain; it is not - the river is in front of the property next to a busy highway. Any peacefulness derived from the river is negated by the constant traffic noise! The units are a bit run down; coffee pot burned up and very noisy old dishwasher. No housekeeping was offered so we had to go get our own clean towels and empty our trash by hauling it to the one overflowing garbage can by the office. The unit has a very small living room and bathroom and uncomfortable hard sofa with no pillows. There was only enough room for two people to comfortably stay in the two-bedroom, though it is advertised for up to 4 people. The kitchen was functional and the bed was comfortable; these were really the only positive things about the place. I hate to be so negative, but for the premium price we paid we were expecting so much more. I feel we could have paid that price or slightly more and had a newer place with better amenities and housekeeping at least. Overall it was a disappointment as we were expecting so much more based on the website photos and advertising. Thank you.
