Great place to stay in El Poblado section of Medellin. Just enough off the main strip to be quiet. Nice breakfast cooked every morning. Clean and quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows. Decent TV. Fridge. Older place but very nice, comfortable, and affordable.
Lots of bang for the buck. Rooms are large, WiFi is strong enough to stream March Madness from USA fire stick, location is walking distance from anything a tourist needs, complimentary breakfast is off the chart, customer service is top notch!!!
WE DO NOT RECOMEND FLORENCIA PLAZA HOTEL, IN MEDELLIN COLOMBIA. We went to Medellin Colombia on July 23 to July 28,2025 for the first. And we use Expedia to make the reservation for 1 room with queen bed. For our surprise the hotel staff informed us, on July 26, the we have 2 reservation & we need to move to a different room. The room have 3 bunk beds, also the bathroom was dirty & the walls have fungus, mold, no towels in the room, the a/c vent was dirty, on the bed sheet have a blood stain, and the hotel was noisy. You are going to heard the noisy from the street. We talk the hotel manager & he said that was Expedia's fault. I called Expedia & they informed me that was the hotels fault. We do not recommend this hotel.
