Flower Hotel Ulaanbaatar

Usually I don't write reviews for places as big as this, but just for clarification: I spent two nights there. The building is a few decades old and a rather big complex, but all around still in good condition. My single room was small, but had everything you wished for: Modern AC(!), a stacked mini bar (with fair prices), a tv and a luxurious shower. I only missed a toilet brush, but that seems to be a Western European thing. It was my 4th hotel in Ulaanbaatar (between 3 and 5 stars) and the breakfast buffet was by far the best one. The hotel specializes in Japanese guests, but has several restaurants for different cuisines and a hot bath for free. There's also a souvenir shop. Didn't use any of that, but all looked quite good. The staff was very nice to me and we could communicate in English without problems. They even let me check in early and stored my luggage after check out. I really don't appreciate the complaints here about the staff not speaking perfect Japanese etc. It's in Mongolia. Why travel to another country if you just want everything like home?

Super comfortable. I liked that my room is always cleaned. The room has a fan and a tub too which I like. I am defo staying here next time I visit.

The large communal bath also had a sauna, which was nice.
