Fortune River View Chiang Khong

Great value for money! I highly recommend booking a river-view room — just a glance out the window and you can enjoy the ever-changing scenery of the Mekong River, whether it’s sunny, rainy, or during a beautiful sunset. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel also provides bicycles, which is a great way to explore the nearby riverside area and experience the charm of Chiang Khong along the Mekong.

Stopped here just for 1 night in the executive room. Everything was very clean and fresh and the staff were really friendly. The view from the room was fantastic and overlooked the Mekong River. I tried the food in the restaurant in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken Coconut Soup. I would definitely be back here to stay next time I'm in Chiang Khong. I can 100% recommend this place.

We only stayed here for one night, the view from the bedroom and the balcony was lovely. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The hotel was very quiet so we chose not to eat in the restaurant. We found somewhere to eat in a short walk of the hotel. Breakfast starts at 7 am they were prompt starting. There was a selection of cereal toast fresh juice, tea, and coffee as well as Thai dishes. We finished breakfast with some fresh fruit. We did try to hire the bicycles they have unfortunately most of them were not functional. We arrived into Chiang Khong by bus and it was a short walk to the hotel. We were then picked up directly from the hotel so it’s hard to say the location was good but we were happy.
