Four Points by Sheraton Santo Domingo

My experience at this hotel was truly excellent. I arrived at 1:30 PM and was checked in promptly without any issues. The staff were exceptionally courteous and helpful. Every area of the hotel was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The mattress was very comfortable, and the air conditioning— a standard Frigidaire unit— operated quietly and efficiently. I was pleasantly surprised to find four complimentary bottles of water provided in my room. The hotel also offers a complimentary hot buffet dinner daily from 2:00 to 6:00 PM, featuring options such as soup, a choice of fish or chicken, and freshly made papaya juice. Overall, a comfortable and welcoming stay. Highly recommended.

5 stars! no complaints! would stay here again! staff were so nice and courteous. breakfast buffet was to die for. dinner menu is also amazing. their restaurant was on point. had very good experience. great swimming pool and amenities as well! next time i fly into SDQ i will be back! very quiet area and close to local beaches. felt very safe.

Seems like Four Points recently acquired this hotel that use to be a Quality Inn. Renovations are taking place as there’s obvious new paint on many walls and updated flooring in common spaces. The pool looked lovely and my room is comfortable for the 1 night I’m here for an early morning flight. The bed is fantastic with excellent pillows and bedding. The towels are new and plush. The carpet is older and the bathroom is functional with a dated look. The AC wall unit works great and there’s outlets installed next to the bed, easy to reach to charge your devices. I also have a mini fridge and the room came with 2 bottles of water in the bathroom and 2 by the coffee maker. I ate at the restaurant and the mozzarella sticks were delicious. The carbonara pasta was just ok and the price was less than I expected for a hotel restaurant. Reception will have a taxi ready for my by 6am so I hope that goes smoothly. Another $17 USD to get to the airport. It’s a shame the hotel doesn’t have a free shuttle.
