A true sky-high sanctuary in the heart of San Francisco. From the moment I checked into my Golden Gate-View Corner Suite at the Four Seasons Embarcadero, I felt like I was floating above the city, quite literally, as it’s perched atop the tallest hotel in SF. The panoramic views of the Bay, Alcatraz, and the Golden Gate Bridge were just the beginning. Orafo, their in-house restaurant, quickly became one of my favorite spots! I enjoyed two incredible breakfasts and a slow, indulgent lunch (don’t miss the steak and seafood soup). Even the gym felt luxurious, flooded with natural light and views over Sansome Street. The service? Impeccable, thoughtful, seamless, and deserving of the 2 MICHELIN Keys recognition. Every detail was intentional and quietly extraordinary. This isn’t just a hotel, it’s an elevated escape. Perfect for anyone looking to experience San Francisco in its most elegant form.

Clean room, friendly staff, and convenient location. The lobby and wait area are smaller than other four seasons hotel. However the room has a nice city view. Wish the patio was open to visitors. Overall, I would return and stay in this modern and newly renovated hotel again.

Just had a bad room. The elevator was so loud it felt like a helicopter was flying by the room every minute or so. Bedding and staff excellent, downstairs restaurant service was not up to par though. Had I not been in an 07 room and possibly 08 has troubles too would have been better.. but even with that, it’s just on par for a 5 star four seasons. The window was small and actually paid for a better view room.. that was just okay.. if I put my face up to the glass I could see Alcatraz.. the viewing angle wasn’t great.
