This hotel has the potential to be one of the best in the area, but for some reason, it feels like a government owned hotel. Specially the reception area feels more like a government office than a hotel front desk. The restaurant’s chairs are particularly odd, and in all my travels, I’ve rarely seen such uninspired decor in a hotel located in such a prime area. That said, the rooms, and the food are excellent for the price. I’m genuinely surprised more customers aren’t taking advantage of the great value and variety of dishes offered. Overall, the competitive pricing makes this hotel an attractive choice in the area. However, it could truly shine if the management is willing to invest in a complete design refresh—especially in the reception area, restaurant, and both bars.
The service is good. They have airport shuttle that picked me at 02:00 am. The workers are polite. Service overall good. The gym is great and has relatively many machines to workout. The steam service is free and it is very good to enjoy. WiFi is problematic. They have an old system called "voucher". You have to sign in to the WiFi now and then. At times signing in can be difficult. I dont understan why they make suffer their guests with this obsolate system
Extremely rude management, without going into too much detail. Construction work outside started at 6 am, on a Sunday morning. As that was not enough, the hotel was drilling and welding metal at 8 am. on a Monday morning. When I went to tell them about the noise, the office manager was so dismissive and didn't want to even look at me when I was talking to him. Then someone came to ask what was going on he introduced himself as the head of HR, and the first thing he said was, please take a seat. I told him I've been standing for some 15 to 20 minutes, and the office manager didn't even ask me to take a seat. I wasn't given a name to make a written complaint as he was the 'general manager'. I told him his business card and the sign on the table said office manager. When I questioned him, the gentleman from HR wanted to reassure me that he would deal with it. I'm still waiting to hear from them regarding other incident where a hotel worker just opened the door and walked in the room when I wasn't fully dressed. The bed was hard as a rock, and they came and added another small mattress. The breakfast was average but value for money.
