G2 Hotel Myeongdong

Great hotel, very spacious. Right off the main area of Myongdong. About a 5-10 min walk from all the shopping. Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants near by. If you are into cameras there are plenty of camera shops. Lobby has a currency exchange machine that was easy to use and very fair with its rate.

I really loved this hotel, it was a very good size for a couple carrying 2 huge luggages and 2 carry ons. The room is very nicely designed and clean, provides bath robes, bath towels, face towels and some toiletries as well. For the girlies, they provided a standing mirror so it made it so much easier for me to do my skincare and makeup. Only downside to this is that you have to walk a little more to myeongdong area. but the walk isn't too bad if the weather is decent.

I only stayed for one night, but it was not bad at all. Breakfast was ok, but I missed proper coffee, which is surprising as Korea consumes a lot of coffee. The room was spacious and very clean. I could check out late, but due to how full they were, I had to wait a few additional hours in the lobby. The manager, Lee, and his team were kind enough to let me take a shower in what appears to be the staff area. You have to buy things like toothpaste and a toothbrush. The hotel also has a small but decent gym. It's located approximately 15-20mins walk from the main shopping areas such as Myeong Dong Street, which is great. If you tired a taxi ride to /from Myeong Dong street will cost you around 6000won. The hotel can also arrange a taxi. All and a fairly good stay. Would use them again.
