Had a fantastic stay at Galleria Vik Milano! Our room (209) was absolutely fabulous - spacious, beautifully designed, and with a private balcony overlooking the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Waking up to that view was unforgettable. The hotel itself is stylish and full of character, blending art and comfort in a truly unique way. Highly recommended for anyone looking to stay somewhere special in the heart of Milan.

Warning: Unsafe, Unprofessional, and Overrated – Galleria Vik Milano Do NOT be fooled by the photos or branding — Galleria Vik Milano was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in Europe. The location may seem glamorous at first glance, but it is not safe, especially late at night. The area around the hotel feels sketchy, and once inside, the quality drops even further. At check-in, a man named Mina (an Egyptian staff member) tried to illegally keep my U.S. passport overnight. This is absolutely unacceptable and a violation of international travel laws. As a U.S. citizen, no hotel has the right to hold your passport — they can briefly scan it for registration, but that’s it. When I requested it back, he was dismissive and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable, as if I was being scammed. The hotel itself does not reflect a luxury experience. It should be rated 1 star — the rooms are dark, claustrophobic, and the windows don’t even open, so you’re stuck in stale air with no view. Nothing about this place justifies the price or the hype. I expected far better from a property carrying the Vik name. Galleria Vik Milano is a disappointment, a risk, and a total letdown. Avoid it and stay somewhere that values your safety and respects your rights.

This place is weird. Book a different hotel. For being rated a 5 star hotel and how many accommodations are near by with the same location convenience, I wouldn’t really recommend this place for the high price. Someone was taking control of the TV from their cellphone nearby and overrode any control or input that we tried. Freaky. we were not able to stop it and had to go without a TV which isn’t the end of the world obviously. It was just very strange and unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. On the morning of departure, we had to get up at 5 am, and all of our hotel room lights were not working while the rest of the hotel was fine. Getting ready by phone light and then coming home to find we left items behind at the hotel due to lack of light. Also we recently found out that a friend had stayed there and had a big security issue while staying there. A man and woman walked right into their room since the codes of the room seem to not change which is alarming that anyone has the potential to easily break into your room. I think it’s just better to not stay here despite the hotel being nice and having a good location. I wouldn’t feel safe now staying there after this chain of events.
