Gangneung The Annyeong Stay

The hotel is well located to nearby shopping, eateries, convenience stores, cafés and local market. The hotel room is extremely spacious! Amenities are well provided, though basic they are useful, eg. nice dental and razor kit. And a hot and strong shower awaits you after a day of sightseeing. The staff are helpful too. 😀

I debated between this location and a hotel near the beach. I sure am glad I chose this place. It's near everything you want and need in Gangneung. There are so many restaurants nearby, you must find back roads of the hotels and you'll find endless amounts of restaurants. It's also a few blocks away from the market (시장) for street foods. The room was clean and spacious with fairly large TV screen. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic hotel, very nice staff who speak Korean and English. Rooms are very big, even the standard rooms so lots of room to spread out. Right in the heart of town, and it only takes 20-25 minutes to get to the beaches via bus. Less via taxi. Only minor thing to note is the bed, at least in the standard double room, is very very hard. I’m used to it though, so it’s good!
