Gardenia Beach Hotel All Inclusive

We enjoyed our stay at this resort, it was quiet and relaxing, good food, some enternainment, the staff were all smiles, we loved the cats!!! The Wi-Fi was excellent (had 80~100% signal everywhere) with very good internet speeds. Will return for sure in the following years.

hotel service focused only on German customers and for tips. the waiters were not friendly, just like the gentlemen from the reception. great location, beach, bazaars, public transport. food.... I will say this: yes, a lot of pickled vegetables. great bread. overall 6/10 and the overall rating of the hotel? 5/10 5 and not 4 because cleanliness is great.

Overall the experience was okay. We arrived a day later because the our flights was cancelled and they didn’t have our rooms. So instead of 3 rooms we received two rooms; one as we planned and a suite. This was for one night. We booked one room with 4 beds (which is basically a rolled out couch) and when arriving the bed wasn’t prepared. We asked the staff to bring us the needed sheets etc. and in the end we had to look for a cleaning lady and prepare the bed our self. There was a Guy who showed us our room and was only focused on getting a tip. This can be seen overall in the hotel, everyone is expecting tips. A night later we had to move out of the suite and into two hotel rooms and no one showed us the way. Personally I guess because we didn’t tip the guy. There are at least 5 different houses so it’s not easy to find the room. Food was fine. Two buffet locations available and in between meals food options are also available. The staff in the restaurant was friendly and always cleaning the table when one is done eating. Location is nice. As mentioned quite a big property with multiple buildings, two buffets, three pools, volleyball yard and beach access. If you don’t mind feeling you have to Tipp everyone and spend more money, it’s amazing here. Personally I felt at some point bad because I didn’t have cash on me and not being able to tip everyone (which of course no one can). So I guess you need a thick skin :)
