Huge hotel... A bit old but still in good maintenance. Rooms with a great view and big enough. Bright and well designed. Some parts are humid. Lot of kids.
We did not notice any renovation. Room service clean rooms bad. Poor breakfast, very good dinners. Great Chinese restaurant. Nobody speaks English, sometimes there is no person who speaks English even at the reception. The beach is awful near the hotel. There is very little place where you are allowed to swim (look at the photo). I don’t recommend Dadonghai for beach vacation at all.
Poor check in service. When you call operator from the room and speak English, help desk simply hangs up on you. When checked in, the room was dirty , with water on the floor, hair found in the bathtub. Breakfast was good. Drunk Russians. Shopping mall nearby. Broken tile in the pool, rusty pool equipment.
