I was very surprised to learn that the hotel was built in 2004. Its style is precisely how I'd imagine 'workers' luxury' to have looked like, had the Soviet system actually worked to produce such things. I adored everything -- from the Spartan, green toilet with a yellow light tube and a 3/4-wall mirror to the sea-blue, floor-wide carpeting, understated ceiling lights and warm wood surfaces. The style is unique and highly consistent; the only offender in my room was a white 'Ikea chair' that clearly didn't belong. Waking up inside an art installation is naturally soothing for the soul. In practical terms: although not too bad, the sound-proofing could be improved. Bike storage is very small and there is no proper support for bikes without a stand installed. Not sure if the staff took it or one of the guests, but my breakfast disappeared from my table when I went to get some juice! Maybe tell the waiters to tone down their eagerness a little bit, just in case. The breakfast itself was standard hotel fare -- with warm orange juice and no gluten-free bread option. The lines were badly organized and directly in the way of people entering / exiting the breakfast area. The spa was nothing to write home about, and will likely get crowded during high season. The main draw must be the various treatments, which I didn't try this time. The 5 stars come mainly from the interior, which is phenomenal [there should be a way to review such 'uniqueness' separately].
The coziest and most kids friendly spa in Estonia! Great program for kids in school vacations, warm spa, delicios food (we especially love the breakfast buffet). My kids are 13 and have been having vacations here since they were only 1,5 years and they still say ita the best spa 💖
Charging money for the most basic hotel slippers is ridiculous. Slippers should be in the room and free of charge, like in any 5-4 star hotel (as GoSpa claims to be).
