Ginger House Museum Hotel

This hotel it much better than its current rating! We met the owner on our first lunchtime, warm and friendly from the first moment. This can be said for the rest of the team that work here, it really adds to the charm. The rooms are really comfortable and spacious. A king bed is incredible! That have everything you need. The location is super handy. A short ride from Fort Kochi and other surrounding cafes and restaurants. The food in the restaurant is incredible and worth the stay on its own. The breakfast is varied and delicious - we were left happy every morning! We also had a couple of lunches and a dinner. Very reasonable prices. All in all would not hesitate in staying here again. A hidden gem because the photos don't quite do justice to the charm of this unique hotel. True to its name , it is a museum hotel as rooms are all different and fitted with antique furniture and fittings seemlessly blending modern comforts with an old world charm. We had the pleasure of seeing 6 different rooms as we were a big family group travelling together. Rooms were immaculately clean , and all the beds were extra large with bedding that is of the best standards. The staff is kind and make every effort to make your stay comfortable. The reception and restaurent may need a little facelift, however it is a quaint and charming seaside place to have a quiet evening. The hotel also boasts of a central location where there is plenty to explore just on the doorstep. The list goes on , but if you have read so far , hope you got the gist! I had a wonderful stay at Ginger Museum House—truly a unique and unforgettable experience. The place comes alive through its incredible collection of antiques from across the country, making it more than just a stay but a journey through history. The owner was exceptionally kind, taking the time to show us the antique store and share his story. His humility and warmth made the experience even more special, and the delicious breakfast he served was a lovely touch. The quality of the stay is something everyone should experience to gain a deeper appreciation for ancient Indian luxury. Plus, its prime location makes it easy to walk to all the major tourist spots. Highly recommended!
