Global Hotel, the now Ethiopia Hotel #2, is one of the cities' landmarks and needs to be protected. It's getting 4 stars only for nostalgic purposes. Go there if you're nostalgic for the old Addis. As the Addis we know, is disappearing. Global Hotel is a sweet reminder of the old days. It's not a place for someone wanting luxury and new things.
Hotel is a 0 star. Bathrooms are nasty with mold and mildew build up that hasn't been cleaned for a while. Some of the staff try to be helpful others don't care. Their hotel driver from airport is horrible, rude and always late. Good wifi in every room. Dinner was good too. Lunch was cold.
