Unfortunately, we did not get to stay at this hotel and enjoy its amenities. Due to the upcoming train strike, we had to cancel our reservation. The five-star review is for the hotel administration and staff who displayed understanding and flexibility by refunding our payment. Sorry we were unable to stay. THANK YOU for your kindness and consideration.
A cosy and unique hotel. Conveniently central and very friendly staff. Short walk to Place Bellecour and the metro station. Highly recommended!!
Positives: great location, welcoming lobby. That's about as far as it goes. My room was sparsely furnished, no in-room coffee or water. No body lotion in the bathroom. But the worst was the foul sewage-like smell emanating from the bathroom. Staff tried to air out the room but no improvement. It's hard for me to see how this is a 4-star hotel. I think they can do better.
