The hotel has stunning views and we were delighted about how clean the hotel. The food was amazing and the selection in the buffet in the morning was great. A great meal to have after a long flight. It is perfectly located with museums and sight located in a walkable distance and other restaurants just round the corner. The reception was a nice peaceful place to relax and I thoroughly enjoyed talking and practicing Spanish with one of the workers. In the main I would and will recommend this hotel to anyone who is going to Quito as a great place to relax and to spend time in a desirable location in the city. Thank you for helping us along our stay.
This hotel is simply gorgeous!!! Very clean, service is amazing and the food is delicious!!! We loved how the restaurant menu featured Ecuadorian food. Also, the woman that owns the hotel is Ecuadorian! We got a couples massage and it was the best massage we've ever had! Definitely recommend!
Booked a dual bed suite with a hot tub as my wife and I would be traveling all day and wanted to soak and unwind while overlooking the city. The morning of our travel I received an email saying they had a "complication with my room" but said they would put us in a different suite but with one bed. When we finally arrived and got to our room there were a few empty cabinets, an unplugged refrigerator that was empty and warm, a hard wood bench/luggage shelf, and a desk. By most definitions for hotels, this was NOT a suite but a standard room. It was late so I figured I would just get in the hot tub and forget about it. I went on the patio and took off the hot tub cover to find it s totally empty. There was no light to see in the dark, and no visible means to fill the hot tub. We called the front desk and they seemed surprised that we were upset and told us we "could fill it ourselves very quickly." We requested someone come to show us how since there was no faucet or hose. The bellman came a few minutes later using his cell phone flashlight to look around the patio (clearly also confused on how to fill the hot tub). He indicated he would need to get a key to unlock the water shutoff valve behind a panel in the corner of the wall I refused as even if that were a method to fill the hot tub, it would have taken 30-45 minutes to fill and a few hours to heat up (not to mention city water is not what I had in mind for soaking). There was no willingness to reduce the price I paid despite the room not being any of the things I paid extra for - they changed me from a dual bed to a single, it was a standard room and not a suite and had no additional seating area or additional room space, and the hot tub was not functional. As other reviews have stated, despite making the reservation and paying online, they required my credit card at check in. That is normal, but they wrote my credit card information on a sheet of paper in addition to swiping it on a payment system. I would not recommend this hotel until they figure how to deliver what they sell. It is a nice, new hotel, but you are not getting what they promise and their service/actions are not up to the standard the price they are charging would imply.
