Gokarna Forest Resort Kathmandu

Absolutely loved my stay at Gokarna Forest Resort! The rooms were very nice and clean, with a beautiful ambience throughout the property. The service was extremely good — the staff were attentive and courteous. The food was excellent, with great variety and taste. One of the highlights was the stunning golf course view — very peaceful and scenic. You can even spot deer roaming nearby, which adds a unique charm to the place. The swimming pool was also very well maintained and perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Nepal!

I go to Gokarna often and enjoy the scenic view every-time I go but once something happened that changed everything for me. Usually I used to go Gokarna wearing good clothes, shoes, watch in hand and they never asked me question whenever it went to dine in. However, one time when PM KP Oli was there, something happened that changed my perspective. I was wearing crocs and a T-shirt with some shorts cuz I just came back from my swimming session since I swim for national level and it was super hot. My friend, it was his first time there and he thought we could park at the golf Parking area so, we had to walk till the resort just for eating something since I was so hungry. Then, a guy (hotel manager) or something and an army guy told me to come side and asked me where I was going which I found really rude. I understand MR PM was there but that was no way to talk with a customer. I felt so humiliated just because I was in crocs and a fila t-shirt?, so you guys judged me???? Also, I lost my appetite and I couldn’t even enjoy there. I was planning to spend a good time with bbq, drinks and everything ruined cuz of that one incident. And since then i don’t even feel like going Gokarna anymore cuz you guys are really judgmental. Also, mind you the slipper you guys judged me for costs 10k which is out of context cuz I was only there to enjoy and thank you for making my experience terrible. I felt so humiliated I’m not coming back

Worst experience. AC wasn't working so tried to call reception to inform about AC well phone connection wasn't working too. Finally went to reception around 1.45 am and they send technician to fix AC who have no idea on AC. So shifted room with my little daughter who is only 5 yrs and wife to another room in a rain. Though they consider it a 5 star resort quality of room, foods, service is of 2 star standard. They really have to work on everything so they can maintain the standards of the resort.
