Golden River view Hotel

I stayed two nights at the Golden Richard Hotel when I visited Shanghai. I was given a suite room on the 15th floor that was great! It was spacious, had a bath and shower, desk, comfortable bed and good air-conditioning. Hotel was very reasonably priced and just slightly out of the centre of Shanghai. The staff were helpful despite the language barrier. The buffet breakfast was delicious. I would recommend a stay at this hotel on your next visit to Shanghai, China!

The hotel is modern, clean and the rooms are spacious. The beds are large and relatively soft (for a bed in China). Breakfast options range from Asian and Western hot buffet with some continental options. There are two coffee machines.

Clean rooms and big, service at restaurant and service desk and concierge was very helpful and friendly. It’s 5 min from Starbucks has a nice restaurant area close to the hotel. Even the restroom cleaners were friendly - not a lot of English in all areas but effort was there for sure. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Lounge sitter with foot rest, probably some of the Power point could use an upgrade my room was 1206, bit noisy as it’s under the banquet room toilets so I needed to speak to the service desk about it. Fixed right away.
