Granavolden Hotel & Gjæstgiveri

Located on a hill top, it offers amazing views and is surrounded by lots of farms. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The lobby area is nice too and they offer very nice breakfast in the morning. The staff is very very helpful and nice.

Stayed here one night after a wedding we attended at the same place. Super cozy and romantic. Food was amazing, so make sure to eat at their restaurant. Breakfast simple, but with local tasty produce! The room itself was very clean and nice, but since its the beginning of the summer it was SUPER HOT during the night. We had the window open, but it didnt help since you couldnt open it that much. No aircondition or fan in the room. Overall we slept well, ate well and had a nice stay.

We stayed here for one night after we arrived in Oslo. The location is absolutely beautiful and the grounds are truly lovely, but there was a wedding that was happening when we were here, and I was informed of this wedding maybe two days before I flew to Norway. What I didn't know was that we weren't allowed to use the grounds, or eat in the hall dinner or breakfast while the wedding was happening. We did eat breakfast way ahead of the weding party but still, that was kind of weird and very limiting. Very polite staff but lots of "sorry but you can't do that" sorts of responses.
