We loved our stay. It was nestled right at the base of the beautiful Chapultepec park. The view is priceless. Great location to visit great dining in all the local spots and museums. We felt safe and would highly recommend to all our family and friends.
With a stunning view of Chapultepec Castle, this is truly one of the best ways to start your trip in Mexico City. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the customer service is outstanding, and the breakfast buffet is both generous and delicious. It’s definitely a hotel I would recommend — and one I’d gladly stay at again.
Property was decently located in an area that appeared safe and walkable/accessible to other main interest areas. The museums are all within walking distance to this hotel and the area we loved the most, Polanco, was within a ten minute car ride. The room was clean and it was a nice sized compared to other hotels in the area. We had issues with the temperature in our room. The thermostat is locked at 18C and during the day (on a non hot day) the room felt hot. During the night it was even worse as I would wake up in a sweat because it would take AC breaks at around 12-2AM. Spoke to front desk who sent a technician who advised everything was working fine and our room in the eighth floor, back of building, was actually one of the coldest due the position of the sun. Mind you, this was a time when in the mornings the temperature was in the mid 50s(F) and also at night so during a hot summer day, id stay elsewhere. Also, we had two instances where the toilet would not flush for no apparent reason where a technician had to come and service it, one time almost at midnight. The bar is nice but small, nothing special about it. The bar tender Antonio is very hospitable. The gym is also decently sized, clean with a great view. If i were to visit Mexico City again, id stay elsewhere due to the AC issues.
