Grand Hotel Beirut

Dirty rooms. Booked for 2 nights didn't and wouldn't refund me. I asked to change rooms he said "all rooms are like this". It said no smoking room but room smelt of smoke. Bathroom was dirty everything was disgusting. We decided not to stay there and drove for 1.5 hours back to where we came from as that was a better option than staying there. I would have stayed in the car before I slept there. Dirty place and wouldn't refund.

Absolutely vile. Do not stay here. Rooms were confirmed on booking.com but weren't all fully available. Hotel is nothing like the photos they advertise. Hotel is in terrible condition and not suitable for staying at. We refused to stay and got a full refund. I only managed to get a few photos and these aren't the worst of what we saw. One of the workers told us that he knew we wouldn't end up staying there as we seemed respectful and the hotel isn't for respectful people. The rooms light bulbs were all over the floor. There were no towels or toilet paper. The bath and toilets are black from dirt and mold. Small hairs around the sink taps. The furniture has never been cleaned or wiped. The floors are not hoovered. The rooms stank of cigarettes. The curtains are difficult to open and close and one of the rooms had clips to close the curtains together. All sofas are stained even in the reception area. The list goes on and on.

Never Never again! I have booked for 21 days, but after 1 night I went to another hotel. I didn't even wanted to stay for that 1 night but I had no choose as I arrived midnight from a long flight. But that's how bad it was! 1. Humidity to an unhealthy level. 2. Staff was terribly rude. 3. Room was untouched for ages. 4. Never seen so much dust in my entire life. 5. Electric cables hanging everywhere. 6. Curtain couldn't even open or close. 7. Bathroom completely rusty. 8. Hotel rooms look Nothing like the pictures online! It's a shame for a 4 star hotel!
