Got lucky with a view of the fjord from our room. Bathroom was a little tight but the breakfast buffet was great! They also have a dinner buffet they offer or guests and non-guest for a price pp.
The hotel is quiet old and you notice this immediately along the halls and in the room. The room itself was clean and comfortable, everything worked properly: TV, kettle, as well as complementary tea and coffee bags. Although the room was spacious, it felt weird how little space there is to store clothes and personal items. We took advantage of the breakfast buffet, which was included and it was fantastic in my opinion. A great selection of warm and cold dishes, various drinks, types of milk, baked goods etc. There's also a swimming pool (wasn't open when we stayed in April), table tennis and a regular tennis court. The location is of course the best part of this hotel.
Picked the hotel for hiking at the national park. The bus stop is right by the hotel and the hiking tour meet up place is here as well, which makes it ideal. However, unfortunately the room wasn't cleaned properly. An empty drink bottle in the trash bin and hair under the sink and around the toilet were left behind. The buffet dinner had a good selection and looked appealing. Salads and veggie dishes were great, but the meat dishes were dry.
