Grand Hotel Toplice Sava Hotels & Resorts

Would highly recommend Hotel Toplice, in Lake Bled. We came to stay here for a wedding as a couple. The hotel is located in the heart of lake bled and makes everything easy to get to by walking. The views are incredible from the hotel I would recommend getting a lake view room you wouldn't be disappointed. The staff where friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated in my opinion but still functionally great and clean. The hotel breakfast was lovely and accompanied by a glass for sparkling wine whats not to love!

We stayed here for a week, had our wedding block of rooms here and had the reception here at Grand Hotel Toplice. Everything from the stay to our reception went incredibly well. Leading up to the wedding my wife and I got a massage at their lovely spa. I used the different saunas almost daily to start off the day. The natural spring water is something everybody should atleast try! The complimentary breakfast is also delicious and always felt fresh. The area they had to jump directly into Lake Bled was a great to relax alone or with a group. The entire stay at Grand Hotel Toplice we were greeted by the excellent views of the castle and church. The staff at Grand Hotel Toplice was consistently professional and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. We definitely felt that it was worth the extra costs (compared to other hotels or AirBnB) considering everything that they offered and how it was executed. They even decorated our room a bit on the night of the wedding!

Very disappointing experience – bed bug bites and no responsibility taken by the hotel I stayed at Hotel Toplice and unfortunately had an extremely negative experience. During my stay, I was bitten by bed bugs, with visible marks and discomfort, which I documented and immediately reported to the hotel. I sent several emails to inform the management (as advised), but the hotel never acknowledged the issue, nor did they offer any compensation or refund. Their complete lack of accountability and customer care is unacceptable, especially considering the level and price of the hotel. Given the seriousness of the hygiene issue and the poor handling of the situation, I cannot recommend this hotel. I hope this review will help other travelers and encourage the management to finally address such complaints seriously.
