Grand Oasis Riviera

We love the attention we got from the staff. The best views in akumal. Lucio helped us arrange our couples massages. This is our favorite resort. Too bad they were closed this summer. We had to book our vacation with a bigger resort and its not worth it. The location the staff do not compare to Grand Oasis Tulum.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was great. The location is very picturesque and generally quiet. If you want a bit more fun and games and music, a section of the big pool is good for that. And there's lots of smaller pools and a beach for quieter space. You just need to walk around and find something you like. Lots of shallow areas for kids to play in the water. Also, the buildings and near doorways are non-smoking. That's refreshing as a non-smoker. There are a few designated non-smoking areas around the property.

We got back from our stay at Grand Oasis Tulum Riviera on Tuesday morning. We loved it. With absolutely no exceptions, the staff were all very kind. The pools were great, the beach was great, the food was varied, fresh and all delicious. The drinks were awesome, the kids loved the kid activities, the entertainment was great, I loved Las Estrellas del Caribe. It was really easy to get to the highway and grab a passing collectivo: there are awesome things to do on either side of the resort. I don't get the negative reviews. Is the sun too hot? The food too fresh? The wildlife too alive? Were there other people in line at reception? The room not immaculate? This place was exceptional value for the cost. 5 stars!!
