Grand Sukhumvit hotel Bangkok

Good hotel for the price range, but I wouldn't call it a 5 Star Hotel. The room was ok. The bed was comfortable and appeared clean. The couch and chairs had some stains on them. The bathroom had a lot of mildew or mold growing on the walls in the shower and on the blinds by the bathtub. We found a cockroach in our bathroom on our last day there (just killed it and flushed it, no big deal). The massage spa was really nice. It's quite pricey but that's to be expected and honestly it was worth it to not have to even leave the hotel. The location is pretty great, walking distance to almost everything we needed. The elevators are pretty slow, and it's kinda frustrating waiting for everyone to swipe their keycards in order to select their floor. The breakfast was fine, but I think it's too expensive. We did it on the first morning out of laziness but there's much better places nearby to have really good coffee and breakfast.

Great Hotel and would recommend. Yes, you can have guests for no extra charge for you single guys. Located 2 minutes from the BTS in the sukhumvit area, the location is very ideal. If you go to the left, you'll be by the bars, pubs, and seedy nightlife area as nana plaza and soi cowboy are both 10 minutes away. If you go to the right, the bts station is 2 minutes away up the alley and the hussle and bussle of the city is right there. Breakfast buffet is good and changes a few items every day, would recommend. Staff was very friendly and helpful, didn't notice anything missing, but obviously i kept my necessities in the set your own code safe in the room. Massage on 4 floor is amazing, i wish i would've taken advantage of this sooner because i would've gotten one everyday. Room service was legit. Cons? Breakfast is super packed in the morning to the point i barely had a seat and this was around 8 a.m. Mold growing above my door, not sure how this wasn't caught but it's easy to see. i'd give 4.5 stars. Or 4 it isn't perfect, but it was good for and to me. Would stay again.

Excellent location to the sky train if you wish to use and get around town. Also walking to some interesting night life and good restaurants and quality hotels. The personnel are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean. The included breakfast is more of a brunch offering all kinds of breakfast and lunch items. The pool is relaxing with little sun and the spa service is complete. If there’s a pandemic, they’ll check your temperature for their security.
