Stayed in a couple room and found it to be good value for the price. The room was clean and came with a washing machine and detergent, though I didn’t end up using it. It’s a bit of a distance from the nearest convenience store, but overall still a decent stay for the price.
my experience did not meet the expectations based on your online presentation, and I feel the need to raise the following issues: Presence of insects: I found a bug near the bed area, which is completely unacceptable, especially in a sleeping area. Unclean tables: The tables in the room were dirty, giving a poor impression of cleanliness and hygiene. Lack of cooking equipment: There were no basic cooking tools like pots, even though such amenities were expected and mentioned. Dust everywhere: There was noticeable dust in the room, especially around the edges and corners. Old furniture: The furniture looked worn out and outdated, which does not match the price paid for the room. I would like to add one more comment regarding my room. There was no mirror near the bedside table (nightstand) or in a convenient place in the room. This was quite surprising and impractical, especially for guests trying to get ready or freshen up. Please consider this point in addition to my previous complaint. I kindly ask that you take this feedback seriously
Personally I did not enjoy the 5 nights stay for many reasons. 1. While I understand there is construction, the noise is overwhelming. 2. The pool is not clean, I can see dust particles the two times i have swam in it, and the chlorine is strong it makes my body itch and smells strong too. 3. Getting kicked out of the pool due to raining was not nice. You can certainly inform us about it being a safety problem and inform us in a polite way to come out, not by shouting get out. 4. Room service everyday at 5pm is very inconvienient (floor 42). I leave early morning and come at the evening to hear the bell ringing for room service, and have to stop everything for 30 mins to complete their cleaning. 5. The cleaning of the room is not thorough, i can see dust in the cabinets so I did not place my clothes in. The vents of the toilet doors are very very dusty, and I can see some mold in parts of the sink which is i believe isnt being worked on as part of the room service. I suggest the hotel to do deep cleaning at least once a month. 6. Floor 42 smells like cigars, weed, and armpit. I dont understand the smell. Similarily every once in a while the elevator smells extremely bad. 7. I have never seen the concierge counter manned by anyone for the last 5 days. I got 3 deliveries, 2 which i personally found and took, and one which I had to wait 5 mins and then had to wave at the staff to provide it. This also is a challenge, as the service is advertised, but not readily available. 8. The service is very lacking, usual hotels would greet customers upon entering/exiting, open the doors, but havent seen this here even though its a 5 star hotel. In fact, while checking in I didnt even hear a hello, just a "can I have your booking number". 9. My check-in bag did not reach my room until some follow-up from my end and a wait of 20 minutes, which is very strange. 10. The hotel is popular for a certain ethnicity which is very problematic and vulgar towards strangers. Myself, understanding the language, it is quite challenging to engage in any activity within this premises (pool, elevator, gym, dining area) without hearing very rude remarks which I understand. This has happened almost 3 times during my stay. While the hotel is not responsible for these type of customers and welcomes everybody, it is just not an attractive environment to be in. 11. Transport by vehicles is very difficult. For grab, the wait is ~15 to 20 minutes in peak hours. Hence, need to walk a reasonable distance beyond the traffic to get a quick transport. Toktoks/taxis are also available after a certain distance. In short, I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. On the other side a few points which are good: 1. The lobby smells good. 2. The drinks and snacks in the room are free. 3. Smart tv is great.
