Situates in a serene environment which you'd feel like staying few more days. The staff and the management were really helpful and friendly. Apart from these we've got a thrilling safari tour with Tharusha who made his utmost efforts to view more animals throughout the journey.
The rooms were clean. Bathrooms not really. We had really good food here with a very cosy atmosphere and great mellow music. But we didn’t think that Dylan was a very good host. We were there for hours and nobody made us feel welcome. We had to figure out ourself who Dylan was. He was not as smiley and he didn’t make conversation about anything. Very strange and in our whole trip this was the first experience like this. He also whatsapped about our driver, that he cannot stay for more than 10 minutes after arrival for example. That took us by surprise: it was quite hostile and negative. Also: there were a lot of stray dogs walking around, which was not very safe for our 1-year-old. We didn’t do a safari from his company, maybe that was the reason he acted like this. But we couldn’t catch him in a nice conversation with anyone else eather.
I booked through booking.com where this hotel was listed as 4 stars, this was a lie as it is 2 stars. We got 2 rooms. Both were disgusting. The bathrooms were not cleaned and the beds weren't either. The smell was so bad and filled the rooms so we couldn't sleep all night. The dirt and filth was all over the bathroom (see the pics). We arranged a safari through the hotel. As it turned out, the jeep they arranged was not well maintained. Halfway through the safari the tyre flew off just driving through flat ground. The driver removed the lug nuts from the other three tyres and used it to attach the broken tyre. After that we were forced to take a different route from the other Jeeps on safari, a route with no animals and that no other car took because it was easier to drive on. On return to the hotel, the owner/manager Dylan when we advised him of our issues was incredibly rude. He told us the safari had nothing to with him. He said this despite his hotel literally advertising itself as arranging tours. Dylan was at first dismissive when we complained and then he grew angry. He began gathering his staff around us in a threatening manner and forced us to immediately pay. Photos were taken by a 70 year old and aren't as clear as they should be. Dylan also provided a false receipt to my mother and lied to booking.com about us staying at his hotel. See pics.
