Hacienda Bali

What a place! A lovely mix of Spanish and Balinese styles. Each room is tastefully decorated and the villas have been specifically designed to make the most of the beautiful views and big skies whilst maintaining up most privacy for guests. Huge comfy built-in king size beds. Beautiful indoor/outdoor bathrooms and loads of wardrobe space. A spacious place to breathe and relax away from the noise and hubbub of Canggu. Also felt safe, being part of the Hacienda estate of villas with limited access from elsewhere. As nature lovers, we loved the daily visits of the yellow vented bulbul (a cheeky bird!), skinks, water monitor lizards and the evening chorus from nightjars and bats and frogs and crickets. Our villa had a breeding pair of large Tokay gekkos in the garden that we'd visit everyday to spot. The large pool is deep and perfect for cooling off during a hot day. It blends in well with the lovely garden. There is lots if space as it has been really well designed. All very Instagramable, if you own a selfie stick! Rooms are great size and airy. We did sunset o'clock on the balcony on most days. Really loved our time there. If I had to pick holes, the kitchen could do with a couple more pans and a bit more worktop space. My guess is that most guests will make the most of Monsier Spoon at the end of the road and the vast array of great local restaurants nearby (there are loads). We only had limited eating out options Our month was an unusual one though (a month during the Covid19 lockdown) so we spent more time than most eating at the villa, hence the critique. Also, the bike deliveries (GoJek and Grab) always went down the wrong side road.... The place is a piece of chic calm off the Pererenan drag with easy access to the beach and some great bites. Would be ideal for 2 couples or a small group of friends...

Incredible place. The villa is perfect for family in either long term or short term travel. Equiped with useful kitchen, dishware, cookware, water tank and middle-sized frige. Also the pool is super clean, well maitained! We carried one 3y one 8m kids, they are happy even will can only spend whole day in villa. The big dining table is ideal for big family! Location is unbeatable, only 5 mins walk to the beach. And quite enjoyable on the food quality! Thank you Hacienda Bali, will go back to here if come back to this area.

Nice Villa in general but needs maintenance (fans are dirty and sound like they are going to fall off the wall, lamps are mouldy and so on..). Overall was a nice stay but we had to change villas since it was SO noisy nextdoor from Black Sand Bar. They play music every night and drunk people scream around, not really what we were expecting from staying in Pereranan. Staff is friendly. Better price value in the area and no noise disturbances.
